Yes. There are a few things you can do to prepare for getting PDO Threads in Charlotte:

• Avoid all non-medically necessary procedures for 3 weeks following treatment.
• Do not spend any time in excessive sunlight for 2 weeks.
• Refrain from strenuous exercise for 2 weeks.
• Sleep with your head slightly elevated for 3 to 5 nights to minimize swelling.
• Take Arnica (orally or topically) according to package instructions to reduce swelling and decrease pain. Do not take any NSAIDs.
• Do not manipulate the tissue with the threads.
• Use ice packs 15 to 30 minutes at a time several times per day to reduce discomfort.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure for 2 weeks.
• Avoid animated or over-exaggerated facial expressions for approximately 2 weeks.
• Avoid drinking through a straw for 3-5 days (lips).
• Avoid intense heat including hot tubs, saunas, sunbathing or tanning for up to 48 hours after fillers.
