White Fillings, also known as composites are often made of plastic or glass polymers. These cosmetic fillings allow us to fill a cavity with a substance that will look and feel just like your existing tooth structure. Tooth Whitening is a cost effective and safe procedure to create a beautiful, healthy smile. Over the years, flouride is has been added to the whitening product. This reduces the risk of tooth and gum sensitivity. Tooth Whitening must be monitored by your dentist and only done after a comprehensive exam and hygiene cleaning. The whitening process can last for a number of years if maintained properly. Beverages such as coffee, tea, cola and wine will reduce the lasting effect. Remember, if it could stain a white shirt, it will stain your smile!
Meet the Staff
Emma has been a dental assistant since 2009 graduating from NCDSATS. She joined Kleinheinz Dentistry in August of 2011. She is a part time assistant. Emma grew up in the Charlotte area and just bought a home in Concord with her dog and long time boyfriend. Fun fact about Emma was that she was born in England. Emma enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Kelly began a career in the dental field more than twenty years ago. She has been with Kleinheinz Dentistry since 2002. She enjoys the family atmosphere of Kleinheinz Dentistry and uses her warm and caring personality to help patients receive the care they need through treatment planning and maximizing their insurance benefits. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, likes to decorate, she is a novice gardener, and has a custom jewelry business. Her favorite thing about working in a family practice is watching families grow. “We’ve seen children that have grown up and started their own families, and now have children of their own that come here. It’s really cool.”
Rachel was raised outside of Buffalo, NY. After graduating high school, she moved to Charlotte NC where she attended CPCC. She graduated from their Dental Assisting program in June 2001. She has worked in our office since her graduation.
She and her husband live in Waxhaw, NC with their two boys, Charlie and Caleb, who are both in elementary school. Their family also includes 2 dogs and a small flock of chickens. They spend as much time outside as possible. They love to swim, fish and have lots of bonfires. When they are not at home they are usually visiting family out of state.
