About Us
Meet the Doctor:
Jeffrey S. Kleinheinz, D.D.S.

Dr. Kleinheinz, or Dr. K, and his family love living in Charlotte. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he attended the University of Minnesota for undergraduate studies, where he was a walk-on quarterback for the Gophers for one year. His desire to be a dentist was greater than his dream to be an NFL quarterback – and a much safer profession, too. He attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, where he graduated 7th in his class, cum laude, and a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society. Dr. K entered the Air Force where he attended a residency for one year at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He served our country for 9½ years while in the Air Force.

Dr. K is married to his high school sweetheart, Patti, and has three sons, all of whom were born while he was in the Air Force. One was born in North Dakota and his twins were born in Germany just 14 months later. Dr. K is passionate about riding his bicycle, riding anywhere from 25-60 miles at a time. He enjoys doing remodeling projects around the house because he likes to work with his hands.

Dental Crowns Charlotte NC

Dr. K enjoys learning about new things and staying current with his training by participating in many continuing education events, including a small residency in 2011 for placing dental implants, and he attends meetings to enhance the effectiveness of Invisalign clear braces. He is a member of the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society and the ICOI (International College of Oral Implantologists) and is a preferred provider of Invisalign.

He participates in a study club called The Masterminds and has participated in the Charlotte, NC Mission of Mercy clinic, where dental professionals donate time and talent in helping the underprivileged of Charlotte. Being from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. K is a loyal Green Bay Packer fan…Go Pack Go!

Meet Our Team

Emma Boyle – Dental Assistant

Emma has been a dental assistant since 2009, after graduating from NCDSATS. She joined Kleinheinz Dentistry in August of 2011. She is a part-time assistant. Emma grew up in the Charlotte area and just bought a home in Concord with her dog and fiancé. A fun fact about Emma is that she was born in England. Emma enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Rachel Wheaton – Dental Assistant

Rachel was raised outside of Buffalo, NY. After graduating high school, she moved to Charlotte, NC where she attended CPCC. She graduated from their Dental Assisting program in June of 2001 and has worked in our office since her graduation. She and her husband live in Waxhaw, NC with their two boys, Charlie and Caleb, who are both in elementary school. Their family also includes two dogs and a small flock of chickens. They spend as much time outside as possible because they love to swim, fish and have lots of bonfires. When they are not at home they are usually visiting family out of state.

Tronda Pendleton – Dental Hygienist

Tronda earned her bachelor degree in Business Administration from UNC-Charlotte. After being a full-time mom to her daughter Hannah and son Gabe, she decided to return to school to study dental hygiene. Tronda joined Kleinheinz Dentistry in 2006. Tronda and her husband, Philip, share their home with Hendrix and Oliver, their two cats. Outside of the office, Tronda enjoys yoga, traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Tronda seldom watches TV and claims to never have watched a reality show, but she is a major news junkie with a particular fondness for satirical news. Tronda is involved in several community service organizations.

Kelly Harding – Office Manager

Kelly began a career in the dental field more than 20 years ago. She has been with Kleinheinz Dentistry since 2002. She enjoys the family atmosphere of Kleinheinz Dentistry and uses her warm and caring personality to help patients receive the care they need through treatment planning and maximizing their insurance benefits. She is most proud of her children, Kate and Nick. She enjoys spending time with family, likes to decorate, enjoys the arts, and is a novice gardener. Her favorite thing about working in a family practice is watching families grow.

“We’ve seen children that have grown up and started their own families, and now have children of their own that come here. It’s really cool.”
